The resin of Benzoin or Styrac Resin, is a balsamic resin,
of a golden brown color.
Its smoke is thick, with a good aromatic smell.
It has a not very intense aroma, warm, a rich aroma of wood and a delicate scent of vanilla.
It has benefits against all types of stress.

Benzoin this resin is a powerful antioxidant with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Its resin has used for the production of incense.
It used for the production of candles.
The resin is from incisions on trees between 8 and 10 years.
In high concentrations the scent of Benzoin resin can be soporific.
It should also be used sparingly, as the risk of hypersensitivity to the resin may occur.
Incense Resin is sold in tubs. The weights are approximate and are around 45-50g.
Burning Incense Resin: Light the charcoal and place it in your incense holder.
Hold the charcoal with tongs. The charcoal will then self-ignite across the surface.
When the charcoal starts to go grey around the edges this is the time to add resin.
Often people add sand to incense holder to help absorb heat.
